Mr. & Mrs. Fromson

The day I met this lovely couple I knew it was meant to be. The Bride Kristen also known as my "Twin" by the Omni Staff and the Groom Adam and I met on a Sunday over a year ago. After we downed black coffee to get our early start on that Sunday morning we proceeded on with the tour. It was clear from the beginning that Kristin and I had very much in common, not to mention she was converting to Judaism. It was a sign from g-d that we were meant to be and shortly after I began planning their wedding at the Omni Severin Hotel.

This majestic garden themed wedding was unique and stunning with no detail unthought-of. It was an honor to help Kristin and Adam plan this wedding and share in the love and friendship both of their families bestowed upon me during the big event.

The weekend began with the Ketubah signing in the Presidential Suite. The Ketubah is the marriage certificate in the Jewish faith.

Beautiful dress, it was stunning and heavy. I don't know how she held it up, the time old saying is always true. Beauty is pain!

The Groomsmen having fun before the first look.

The first look was absolutely precious. These two are so in love you can see it in every move they make.

The stage was set for a spectacular ceremony.

A Chuppah is a Jewish Tradition that symbolizes the couples home, consisting of four poles and a covering. In the Old Testament Abraham's tents was always open and never a wall closed, welcoming guests and extending his hospitality. In the ceremony of a Jewish Couple the Chuppah invites all of their guests into their home and shows their hospitality for joining them on their special day.

Their beautiful Chuppah designed by JP Parker. The Chuppah Cover specially imported from Croatia.

The Ceremony was conducted by Rabbi Speigal of the Butler Campus Hillel.

L'Chaim! To Life! Mazal Tov!

After it all sunk in the Bride and Groom shared a special moment by themselves in Yichud.
After this the Bride and Groom joined their guests on the Mezzanine for cocktail hour.

A beautiful picture of their grandmother on her wedding day as a memorial to her.

Cake cutting!

Now over this time Kristin and I have become very close and neither of us were ever interested in tossing a bouquet. We then decided we would do so if it were made out of money. So Adam's mom went out and bought lottery tickets and I transformed them into a bouquet of lilies for the toss!

Boys will be boys

A beautiful father son moment.

And the fun begins...

The Bride and Groom lifted high above their guests. It is a long standing tradition doing this but it does stem back to the Talmud. (Rabbinic discussions of Jewish Law & Customs) The guests are obligated to make the Bride and Groom joyful during their wedding.

Fixing the Bride up after her scary ride!

Hava Nagila . Of course I had to join in on this one to share in their Simacha ( happiness).

So every time Kristin came in for planning meetings the front desk would call down and tell me that my twin was there to see me. It is an honor to be called her twin!

Nothing like a late night nacho bar to keep this crowd dancing late into the night.

And they lived happily ever after ;)

300 guests make for a full house to share in your joyous day! The Severin Lobby can accommodate 200 guests on the main floor and 100 on the mezzanine level. Notice how guests are up on the mezzanine gazing over the balcony to see the bride and groom. After dinner their guests enjoyed the sparkle of the Severin Ballroom for dancing.

The Mezzanine makes for such a neat place to be during dinner. First, you have the best view of the entire room. Second you have your own bar up there. Last but not least third, you can be as loud and fun as you want with out having to worry about disturbing the more astute guests.
